Post 1: The country that I always wanted to know (Denmark)馃

 I have wanted to visit Denmark for a long time, since it is a country with very different characteristics from my native country (Chile). Denmark is a country where equality is an important pillar in Danish society and an essential part of its culture and tradition, as well as being the least corrupt country in the world and leading the ranking of the best countries in the world to live in! These aspects are what attract me the most to this beautiful country. It seems that everyone in Denmark has a calm, happy, comfortable and ecologically conscious life.

I would like to take a long tour of all its wonderful landscapes, with its pollution-free streets and clean air. I would also like to taste their various foods, since it is part of their culture, in addition to sharing with the people who are there.

I would love to study a year in Denmark, I think it has an excellent education and a very nice atmosphere. Living there would also be an option, since it is a safer country and I feel that you can walk the streets more calmly and without fear.

I study psychology at Universidad de Chile in the Social Science Faculty. I choose this career because I am interested in helping people, creating a change in society and alleviating their problems a little, it is something that I am very passionate about. When I finish studying the career of Psychology that I am studying, I would be interested in studying a postgraduate degree. One of the main reasons to study a postgraduate degree is to improve some skills and, at the same time, improve the job qualification. In the same way, employability would increase, since only the bachelor's degree in a society focused on continuous training is no longer enough. Postgraduate degrees increase the prestige of the person, since when they obtain a specialization they become part of an elite of professionals much more qualified than others. I am Caroline Menares, I´m 19 years old and was born in Santa Cruz, Sixth Region. At elementary school I studied at the Municipal Escuela of Paniahue in my commune. Later, I completed my secundary education at the Liceo Santa Cruz. I am currently studying Psychology at the University of Chile.  I have always lived in Santa Cruz with my family, which is made up of my mother, my little brother, my dog daughter named Deysi and myself.  One of my favorite hobbies is riding a bike at night with my boyfriend, watching movies on Netflix, cooking recipes from the internet and I also like listening to music, it relaxes me a lot.  Online university has been a great challenge for me, but everything can be achieved with perseverance.
