Post 5: My Future Job 🤍

When I envision my work in the future, I think of a job where I leave early to have free time to recreate myself. A job in which I earn enough to support myself, give myself some tastes and that I can visit different parts of my country. So I can get to know different landscapes and enjoy different climates.

I imagine a job that does not consume so much time in my day, maximum 5-6 hours a day. I think of an office with a harmonious work environment, where it has a nice decoration that reflects peace and tranquility, which would really make me very happy!

I would love for my future job to give me the opportunity to travel to different places in my country or go abroad, it would be a dream for me. Thus, I would get to know different cultures, thoughts, interact with new people and try too much food haha!

Obviously I hope that my work is related to my studies, because that is why I am studying this career. I am thinking of specializing in the field of social psychology next semester, as it is an area that I am very passionate about. I have always wanted to work with groups of people and see how interactions with others influence the behavior of the individual and their mental states.

    Good work. Few suggestions: taste is when you try something, so the correct word here is pleasure. Then, you should say: try a variety of foods, for instance.

I study psychology at Universidad de Chile in the Social Science Faculty. I choose this career because I am interested in helping people, creating a change in society and alleviating their problems a little, it is something that I am very passionate about. When I finish studying the career of Psychology that I am studying, I would be interested in studying a postgraduate degree. One of the main reasons to study a postgraduate degree is to improve some skills and, at the same time, improve the job qualification. In the same way, employability would increase, since only the bachelor's degree in a society focused on continuous training is no longer enough. Postgraduate degrees increase the prestige of the person, since when they obtain a specialization they become part of an elite of professionals much more qualified than others. My autobiography

I am Caroline Menares, I´m 19 years old and was born in Santa Cruz, Sixth Region. At elementary school I studied at the Municipal Escuela of Paniahue in my commune. Later, I completed my secundary education at the Liceo Santa Cruz. I am currently studying Psychology at the University of Chile.  I have always lived in Santa Cruz with my family, which is made up of my mother, my little brother, my dog daughter named Deysi and myself.  One of my favorite hobbies is riding a bike at night with my boyfriend, watching movies on Netflix, cooking recipes from the internet and I also like listening to music, it relaxes me a lot.  Online university has been a great challenge for me, but everything can be achieved with perseverance.
